So if you've not seen a Darren Aronofsky film, this one might be an easier entry point than the rather disjointed "Pi"
This probably hasn't sunk in enough yet to write a proper review (the credits are rolling now). But if you can live with a "similar to", think Trainspotting without the humor, and perhaps an order of magnitude more disturbing. Solid performances from all actors (and as with every other time I first spot Keith David in a flick, I smiled, even if his character was rather unsavory)
As with Pi, Clint Mansell (PWEI) did the score, and did an excellent job with it.
It's a good watch, although somewhat intense. The climax of the film comes about an hour and a half in, where just about everything is going wrong for each of the four main characters of the film. Expect the worst.
