Just throwin' this out there...

An old teacher of mine once said to never use Sony's tapes cause they're really rough on the head (chee, that sounds dirty) reader thing of the camera.

I think I experienced this as well, I used a few Sony tapes prior to gaining this knowledge, and did notice a slight whirring noise that wasn't there before...

I mean, that could have come from somewhere else, but my teacher is a pretty smart guy.

Anything to report on your side?
