I'm going to break the "unanswered" part of this for a second.

The CNN thing did nothing for site visits. It was an OK show... a bunch of clips from users. Anyone who uses the internet for news won't be too impressed with its content, but I can see how it would be good for people who don't rely on their computers for comfort like all of us do.
