I hope every market apostle libertarian and die hard market following republican reads this article over at ABC News (Australia, not the U.S. ABC) in its entirety.
It turns out that our consumerism isn’t a one way street that helps the economy. In fact, our rate of consumerism in this country may be leading us to a global recession, according to Harvard Business School professor, Richard Vietor.
In an interview with Australia’s ABC Radio, Vietor said that business leaders know too little about the world economy.
Well, if the business leaders know too little, then who the hell do we listen to?
