Review: I spent the better part of my Sunday evening scrubbing down my kitchen and bathroom. What did you do?
In scrubbing my toilet, I learned that the nasty orange/rust color of the bowl was simply caked on hard water and who knows what else left over from the previous tenants of my apartment. After furiously scrubbing and dry heaving, I wanted to make sure that never happened again, so I purchased one of these chalky discs that not only makes going number-one an exercise in the first rule we all learn about color mixing (yellow and blue make green!), but also cleans and deodorizes your toilet bowl with every flush.
I’ll be honest, I can’t tell if every flush is cleaning anything beyond making the unwanted parts of our meals disappear. Also, the bathroom still smells like bleach, thanks to all of my scrubbing. At the very least, however, the piece of mind that blue toilet water gives guests is worth the $1.29.
