Review: I try not to eat too many sweets but they taste so good with the first cup of coffee of the day. Also, Caribou Coffee recently hired a new baker/chef to re-think all of their foodstuff recipes, and boy did he make an improvement…sort of. You know the old saying “Just like mom used to make?” Well, there is a certain amount of truth in that saying, applicable especially concerning Caribou’s new bakery. I say this because the Blueberry Muffins from Caribou taste exactly like the Apple Cake my mother and grandmother used to make. I love my female relatives’ apple cake! But this is supposed to be a Blueberry Muffin. Ah well. At least we’re not eating our meals in the form of pills. I’ll take it.
