Review: Oh thank you Caribou gods, for having a light roast on brew today. Not only did you have a light roast, but this light roast was lighter than most. This is starting to sound like a Dr. Seuss coffee story isn’t it?
Did you know that most coffee cherries develop two seeds? Neither did I. Did you know that only about seven percent of coffee cherries develop one seed? Neither did I. Did you know that those coffee cherries in that seven percent are called peaberries? I didn’t either. It’s amazing what you can learn by reading the Caribou Coffee website.
The website also claims that this coffee blend produces a slight sweetness. I don’t know about that, but what this blend does produce is a coffee that is light on the acidity and heavy on flavor. This just might be one of my favorite Caribou blends that I have tried so far. Hell, I might even buy a bag of beans when my cache runs out at home.
