Review: Good news! These tamales don’t smell like urine when you cook them!
Instead, the cheese and green chile inside of these cornmeal hot pockets provide you with a flavor much like a mid-grade salsa, which is not necessarily a bad thing. The substantial part of this meal is the overabundance of cornmeal. Unfortunately, this is also this product’s downfall. If I simply wanted to chew on cornmeal with a little bit of cheese on it, I would have made corn muffin grilled cheese sandwiches.
A good snack, but it needs more filling.
