From the Just Desserts? department

Stephen Bruce, owner of New York restaurant, Serendipity 3, has just created the world’s most expensive dessert. It’s called the Frrozen Haute Chocolate. And yes… You are paying for that extra “r.” This ultimate expression of bad taste costs $25,000 and contains a blend of 28 cocoas, including 14 of the most expensive and exotic from around the world.

Of course, no one is stupid enough to pay $25,000 for just a sundae, right? That’s why there is plenty of edible gold, a spoon made of gold to eat it with, and an 18-karat gold bracelet with 1 karat of white diamonds.

Should this really count as the most expensive dessert, when they just threw in some tacky jewelry and edible metal to drive the price up?

I hope anyone who orders this dessert is forced to sit in the center of a room of starving children while they eat it.
