Review: Though I’ve purchased a few cheeses from Trader Joe’s in the past and have been pleased, my first instinct when the dairy shelf at home is empty is to go somewhere else that has more of a variety. This latest purchase is only working to further that instinct.
I can’t say this cheese is bad, it is just no better than any Colby Jack I’ve tasted before. Even that generic stuff that you get out of the endcap freezer at your local megamart. The only advantage of this is the larger size vs. those pre-shredded bags of cheese I’m so used to seeing. The flavor is subtle, but not in a my palate is much more evolved than yours let me show you by enjoying this cheese with orgasm sounds while you just think i’m a food snob kind of a way. This is not what I have come to expect from a colby/jack variety at all.
An unimpressive purchase I don’t wish to repeat.
