Review: Ah.. the freezer. That magical place where you can leave the last and only buck you ever had the dumb luck of hitting for years to come. You don’t want to use a sharpie to label the butcher paper though, because the scent will linger and that is no good doing. So what do you do? I’ll tell you what. The future of your freezer is in plastics. Trust me. Some day, they’ll even fight wars over it.
You don’t want to let your green side down, though, so these bags aren’t the throwaway kind.
That, my friends is the test of a good freezer bag. It’s not the tiny white frosted surface that you can scribble notes on. It’s not even the excellent tight zip-lock technology. It’s the ability of said bag to keep in freshness and stand up to a vigorous washing so it can be used again. Two areas where these generic bags seem to succeed.
So, while we all don’t need more plastics in our life, these are probably the lesser of the petroleum evils due to their reusability.
