Review: Just as light as the La Minita Peaberry blend, Caribou’s daybreak is a great roast for the mid-day coffee. Despite it’s claim of being a morning blend, I find that this blend is so mild that the coffee taste is almost missing from it. Still a great coffee and a welcome respite from the dark roasts I’ve been drinking lately, this blend made me finish my cup of coffee and go back for a refill in the cold winter wind. I’m not sure I would buy a bag of beans, but perhaps I just need to go easier on the cream and sugar to experience this blend’s full flavor.
