Review: I buy pre-cut carrots for two reasons. First, I don’t have a vegetable peeler. Second, whole carrots creep me out for some unknown reason. I’m not talking hiding behind a pillar or jumping up on a chair creep me out. I’m just talking “that looks kind of gross and I don’t want to deal with it” creep out. I know it’s strange, but I always reach for the pre-cut carrots. I should probably get a peeler and get over my petty aversion, but for now, I’ll just reach in the bag for a few more carrot sticks.
These carrots aren’t only free of veins, grey spots and dirth, but they taste slightly sweet, are perfectly sized for dipping and are one of the healthiest convenience foods I’ve ever encountered. They’re also easy to cut and cook well!
