Big companies like Ikea and Wal-Mart are coming up with ideas to help them target Muslim Americans in their ads and stores. I’m not sure what’s weirder… Marketing to a religion rather than a culture or the fact that widespread acceptance of Islamic Americans as normalcy is a trickle down effect that stems from advertising.
The invisible hand is currently high-fiving a trust-fund hippie somewhere right now.
