Review: Part of the reason I took a day off from the Consumatron Minute was due to the fact that my sleep schedule has been nearly reversed recently and I’ve been absorbing a month’s work of information in less than a week. The other reason I took a long weekend is because I ran out of tape.
Such a dated dilemma in this age of digital media, isn’t it? What can I say? I’m old school. Give me a box of videocassettes over an external hard drive any day.
Though these cassettes are on the low end of the consumer side of digital video storage media, I’m not too worried. I mean, my primary video project is a videoblog, not an instructional surgery video. Even if there is a bit of blur or not the richest color, chances are I will still be able to make you laugh or think or click away in disgust. I don’t have an HD camera, so these tapes provide a great picture and sound that is indistinguishable from other tape brands to my naked eye.
I have used these cassettes many times and have never had a problem with glitchy video or other issues. In a pinch, this bulk pack or six cassettes will be well worth the money paid.
