Review: The tuna salad sandwich meal is one of the least expensive meals available to the lunch-goer at Eppy’s. The tuna salad is fresh and unencumbered by unnecessary spices such as pickle or too much salt (add it yourself if you need it… I did). You actually taste tuna spackled together with mayonnaise and feel the textured crunch of just enough celery.
Like all of the other sandwich meals at Eppy’s, this sandwich comes with two sides and a refillable drink. All in all, this is an affordable and filling lunch. My only complaint is that the sandwich is not as bulky as the others I have tried. Bear in mind, this is only a disappointment by comparison and you will still find it rather difficult to find a better lunch deal within the Streeterville area.
Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by Eppy’s filling Reuben.
