Review: This sandwich is a deal because basically, it is a tuna salad sandwich with a slice of cheese melted in it. Why such a deal, you ask? Because, usually, adding a slice of cheese to a sandwich at Eppy’s will set you back a dollar, but since the regular tuna sandwich at Eppy’s will cost you $6.45, a slice of cheese in this case only sets you back a shiny half dollar.
As I stated in my previous review, the tuna salad at Eppy’s is fresh and of high quality, but if you are used to the highly-spiced kind that other places serve, get your salt and pepper wrist ready. I don’t know if it’s just me, either, but the melt seems to have more tuna stuffed in between the slices of bread than the regular. As per usual, the shit-talking in-your-face friendliness/if-you-can’t-take-a-joke-don’t-bother-coming-in-here service was excellent. Don’t forget that every sandwich comes with not only an insult, but also two sides (tater salad and chips for me) and a drink. Best seven bucks I spent on lunch this whole week.
