- So let me get this straight. If we make bad business decisions and run up huge debts and overspend ourselves to the point where we can’t spend any more, then the government will give us money back so we can continue spending? What will you do with your $600 tax refund later this year? I’m paying down my one and only loan/debt so I can get back to doing that thing that my parents are always talking about… what was that called again? Oh yeah… saving. (link)
- Don’t fuck with McDonald’s. There’s two windows in the drive through. Know which one is the innie and which one is the outie. If you don’t, you might just get arrested. (link)

- Any of you Chicago readers checked out Green Grocer Chicago yet? I plan on going soon, but I’d like to hear any feedback or suggestions on what to try while I’m there. (link)
- David Pogue suggests new model for buying expensive and iffy new gadgets that might get old quick in a New York Times Article. Reader buys suggested web domain and offers it to David Pogue in much the same way. I laugh at the brilliance of it all. (article link . domain link)

I wondered what happens if most people save the money instead of spending it. We both know that’s not going to happen, but it would be interesting if it did.

Oh that’s easy. Most sectors of the economy would still be struggling, so we would need another jolt to the economy so the government would then decide to give us even more money back…. Wow… we could all be rich if we just stopped spending our money.

I’ve been to Green Grocer Chicago already and it’s fantastic! This is exactly what the neighborhood needs. I like that they offer the basics, but also some nice organic brands. Also, the staff was so cheerful, which is a total plus on these bad-weather days.
